It's all over for another season.
As the dust settles on the 2016-17 Premier League campaign, teams are now free to focus on their summer wheeling and dealing.
Chelsea celebrated their title win on Sunday afternoon, but it was also party time for Liverpool and Manchester City who claimed Champions League places which will give them extra prestige and financial clout when it comes to summer acquisitions.
Arsenal missed out on a top four spot for the first time in Arsene Wenger's time in north London, so expect the Gunners to be busy in the transfer market this summer as they look to put right that wrong.
Manchester United will not know their European destiny until Wednesday evening, when they face Ajax in the Europa League final knowing a win will see them seal a Champions League place.
With the rumours flying, stay up to date with all the latest transfer news, gossip and done deals right here.

Eduardo signs on

Chelsea have handed goalkeeper Eduardo a new one-year deal.
The Portuguese will continue as backup, having been third choice behind Asmir Begovic and Thibaut Courtois last term.
“I am very happy to stay at Chelsea for another year. This season has been very successful for the club, and everybody has made me feel like a part of the family.
“I hope next season can be just as positive and we can win many more trophies.”
Michael Emanelo said:
“Since joining us last summer, Eduardo has been a model professional.
“He has used his wealth of experience at the top level to bring the very best from his fellow goalkeepers and has been a reliable, popular and respected member of the squad.
“We are delighted he has chosen to commit his future to Chelsea.”

Kewell IN!

Harry Kewell has been named as League Two Crawley’s new boss.
Former Liverpool and Leeds star Kewell is currently working on his UEFA Pro License qualification after retiring from playing in 2014.
Ex-Newport chief Warren Feeney will be his assistant.
Kewell’s only previous managerial experience came when he took charge of the Watford reserve team in 2015.
He left the Hornets last month after losing 7-1 to Cardiff, 8-0 to Ipswich and 4-1 to Colchester.

Where for art thou Marco?

Marco Silva is almost certain to leave Hull following their relegation.
And while he has been linked with a Premier League stay at either Watford or Southampton, it’s being reported in his homeland that he’s back off to Portugal.
The ex-Estoril and Sporting boss is reportedly set for an interview with Porto this afternoon.
Nuno failed to win the title and looks set to be replaced there this summer.

Barkley...Then again

Then again, the Toffees star hasn’t just done one post today.
He’s done two!
This one has him kicking a ball.
So maybe it’s just that he really, really likes the grey filter.

Ross Barkley's future..it looks to be away from Everton

As Everton appear to be pushing for Gylfi Sigurdsson, Ross Barkley’s future goes further into the abyss.
And today’s instagram post won’t have done anything to change that.
There was supposed to be a statement from Everton on Monday, but it never came.
The waiting game continues.
But this, an unhappy Barkley, before the game at the weekend, head bowed trudging off the pitch, doesn’t look good.
On his way out? Increasingly, it looks to be a story of where, not if.

Tianjin Quanjian deny £75million Diego Costa move

Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian have distanced themselves from a £75million move for Diego Costa, saying there has been no contact with the Chelsea hitman since the turn of the year.
The big-spending CSL side have stated that they will be looking at a “rational transfer plan” this summer in a bid to become more sustainable.
The Chinese club recently announced that they had reached a ‘verbal agreement’ for their No.1 transfer target, with owner Shu Yuhui saying “buying a world-class centre forward is a no-brainer.”
However, in a sudden about turn, Quanjian have surprisingly declared that there has been no contact with the forward with Costa nor his representatives since the turn of the year.
Here’s exactly what they said

Kylian Mbappe insists he has no intention of leaving Monaco to play second fiddle at another club, and will be “the sole decision-maker” with regards his future.
Mbappe, 18, scored 26 goals for the French champions, as Leonardo Jardim’s blew away Ligue 1 and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Mbappe, who began the season playing back up to Valere Germain and Radamel Falcao, leapt into the limelight scoring six times in the Champions League knockout stages and made his senior France debut also.
His incredible rise has seen him linked with a potential world record transfer this summer, as Europe’s biggest clubs sniff around the Paris-born forward.

Swansea owner: "We don’t want to sell Sigurdsson"

Swansea City are ready to turn down record-breaking bids for Gylfi Sigurdsson – with the club’s American owners adamant they’re keeping the Liberty’s star man.
And even an offer of £40million would not necessarily tempt the board into changing their stance as they look to hold firm in a summer of speculation over the Swans idol.
“We all know how important Gylfi is, just as he knows how much he’s valued and loved here,” said owner Steve Kaplan. “There’s been interest in him before – there were some pretty big enquiries about him last summer and in the January window – but we didn’t want to sell him then and we don’t want to sell him now.
“And neither do we need to sell him. He has three years on his contract and he’s part of our plans going forward under Paul Clement.
“Our aims are to make sure that we build on the successful end to the season and that doesn’t include selling out best players.”

Iker Casillas wanted by Liverpool?

Weird one from Spain right now.
AS reports that Iker Casillas, former Real Madrid goalkeeper, has Liverpool as a potential option ahead of a possible summer move.
Casillas, 36 at the end of the month, is coming to the end of his contract in Portugal, with Porto.
He reportedly has offers from Turkey, China and Qatar - as well as Liverpool.
‘Some sources say he may have even arranged a pre-contract with the Anfield club.

Newcastle want Chelsea striker Batshuayi

Rafa Benitez will make a bid to land Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi on loan.
The Belgian striker has made only one league start this season for the new champions following a £33million move from French giants Marseille last summer, but has netted four in his last three appearances — including the winner at West Brom that confirmed them as title winners.
Benitez wants to use the loan market to bolster his newly-promoted Newcastle squad, and offer former employers Chelsea the chance to give an expensive asset more Premier League experience.
Newcastle borrowed winger Christian Atsu from Stamford Bridge last season and he will now be their first summer signing.
The Magpies have been watching Batshuayi since he was at Marseille.
Benitez has between £70m-£100m to invest this summer and wants five new first-teamers, and at least as many new faces on top to bolster his Championship-winning squad.

Brighton take Hoops defender

Brighton are wasting little time after promotion.
Having made a first signing at the weekend, they’ve now taken Josh Kerr, 19, from Celtic.
Kerr arrives on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee, and will go into the club’s Under-23s to begin with.
Under-23s coach Simon Rusk said:
“We are delighted that we’ve been able to acquire the services of Josh for next season.
“He will be an excellent addition to the under-23 squad, and his versatility across the back four will be a key asset.”

Celtic star Tierney snubbed £10m Arsenal

Scotland and Celtic full-back Kieran Tierney insists he has no regrets after snubbing a big money move to the Premier League.
The Daily Record revealed last May that London giants Arsenal were set to test the Parkhead club’s resolve with a whopping £10million bid for the left-back sensation.
But Tierney insisted a 10-minute chat with Brendan Rodgers, after the incoming manager’s first training session, convinced him he had to stay with his boyhood heroes.
The 19-year-old is adamant he isn’t solely motivated by money and is perfectly happy at the Hoops after signing a new five-year deal last June.
Tierney said: “The manager came in last year and I had been told already there was a big bid there.
“It was a dream season for me last year individually and the manager said he wanted me to stay and sign a deal.”

Bournemouth expect to sign Defoe on a free by the weekend

Bournemouth expect to complete the free transfer signing of Jermain Defoe this week.
The 34-year-old striker is set to complete a medical within the next 72 hours, before sealing his switch from relegated Sunderland.
Defoe, who smashed 15 Premier League goals for the doomed Black Cats this season to earn a recall to the England squad this season, is poised to sign a two-year deal with the option of a third.
Talks opened with the Cherries initially stalled, with the south coast club unwilling to pay wages of £115,000-a-week on top of a signing-on fee of around £6million.
But with West Ham and Crystal Palace threatening to move in, they have managed to reach agreement with Defoe’s representatives.

Leicester competing with Spurs and Palace over centre-back targets

Leicester are preparing to battle it out with Crystal Palace for Senegal defender Kara Mbodji.
The Anderlecht ace has been told he can leave this summer to fulfil his Premier League ambitions.
Both the Foxes and Palace are keen on the 27-year-old Mbodji, whose best position is centre-back but he can also play in holding midfield.
Leicester want two new defenders with captain Wes Morgan already 33 and his centre-half partner Robert Huth reaching that age in the first week of next season.
Leicester are also trying to snap up centre-back Harry Maguire on the cheap from relegated Hull, as he only has 12 months left on his contract.
Last season’s Premier League champions are offering bigger wages than Champions League-bound fellow suitors Tottenham in a bid to get the 24-year-old.

Arsenal are reportedly talking with representatives of teenager striker Henry Onyekuru.
The KAS Eupen 19-year-old is a star of Belgium’s domestic league, the top scorer with 20 goals.
Sky Sports say the Gunners have jumped in front of Everton, Southampton and West Brom for his signature.
They add the forward’s people have told them Onyekuru is eager to join a club in England.

ICYMI: Chelsea sell Juan Cuadrado to Juventus

Juventus have announced the permanent signing of Chelsea forward Juan Cuadrado .
The 28-year-old, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at the Serie A champions, has signed a contract that will keep him at Juve until June 2020.
Juventus will pay 20million euros (£17m) for Cuadrado, who has already made 83 appearances for his new club.
The Colombia international, having also enjoyed a temporary stay at Fiorentina in 2014, initially joined Juventus in August 2015 and then returned this term.
Cuadrado scored three goals in 43 appearances as Juve won the Serie A title, becoming the first club to secure six Scudettos in a row, and reached the Champions League final.
A press release published on Juventus’ official website read: “Juventus announces that, following the meeting of the conditions provided by the contract, its obligation to definitively acquire the registration rights of Juan Cuadrado from Chelsea became due.
“The permanent transfer fee of 20 million euros is to be paid in three annual instalments starting from the 2017/2018 financial year.

Liverpool 'in box set to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain'

Liverpool are reportedly in the box seat to sign Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The versatile midfielder is eager for more regular starts and is said to be keen to find them elsewhere.
The Reds are set to make a move for the £20m-rated player who has just a year left on his current contract, reports The Sun.

Mourinho to put Smalling up for sale?

Manchester United is set to put England defender Chris Smalling on the market this summer, according to reports.
Jose Mourinho has apparently gone off the 27-year-old and is keen to bring in a world class centre-half, claims the Daily Star.
Mourinho will be given a huge war chest to spend on overhauling his squad and will tell Smalling he is no longer wanted.
Smalling is an injury doubt for Wednesday’s Europa League final but Mourinho is likely to choose Phil Jones in his starting XI.

Manchester United to sign TWO disgruntled Bayern Munich stars? Transfer news and gossip from Tuesday's papers

Disappointing seasons for Renato Sanches and Douglas Costa has given Manchester United encouragement that they could prise the young stars from Bayern Munich.
The Red Devils wanted 19-year-old Sanches when he was snapped up by Bayern last summer.
Costa has sparked interest from Liverpool as well and has spent more time than he’d like on the bench this campaign.
Should Man United reach the Champions League by beating Ajax in Sweden on Wednesday, Kicker report that they are well placed to get the duo given Joshua Kimmich and Kingsley Coman are preferred by Carlo Ancelotti.

Everton agree £25m transfer fee for Swansea's Gylfi Sigurdsson - but deal isn't done

Everton have struck a deal with Swansea for Gylfi Sigurdsson – but the midfielder is holding out for more than £120,000-a-week, writes Adrian Kajumba.
The Toffees have moved quickly to try to tie up a deal for Swansea’s star man and double player of the year Sigurdsson, amid rival interest from the likes of Tottenham and Southampton.
The two clubs are believed to have settled on a package similar to the £25m Everton shelled out for another 27 year-old, Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie last summer.
Everton’s hopes now hinge on them agreeing terms with playmaker Sigurdsson, who is on £80,000 per week at the Liberty Stadium but wants a significant pay hike to move to Merseyside.

Philippe Coutinho offers encouraging news to Liverpool fans who fear he could leave for Barcelona

Philippe Coutinho has told worried Liverpool fans he sees his long term future at the club.
The Brazil star has long been linked with a move to Barcelona, with speculation mounting the Spanish giants will make a massive move in the summer, after both Neymar and Luis Suarez recommended he be the club’s next galactico signing.
Yet we can reveal the Reds have received no offer from any club for the midfielder...and there has been no contact from Barca or any agent.
And the player himself went to some lengths - after guaranteeing Champions’ League qualification for his club on Sunday with a brilliant free kick - to quash the rumours, by insisting he has a contract he will honour.
Speaking after the crucial 3-0 win over Boro which confirmed a top four place and a seat at Europe’s high table next season, Coutinho was asked if he will be playing in the Champions’ League for Liverpool or Barca.
His reply was emphatic. “A lot of people have been asking me this, but I don’t understand. I have a contract with Liverpool - a long contract. This speculation is for other people only.”

The France international is understood to be the top transfer priority at Old Trafford this summer.
And the 26-year-old has dropped his strongest hint yet that he is ready to link up with international colleague Paul Pogba at United.
Atletico Madrid are braced for bids for the forward, who has been speaking on French television show Quotidien, reports Manchester Evening News’ Manchester United editor Samuel Luckhurst.
In an interview with host Yann Barthes, Griezmann described the chances of him joining the Red Devils as “six out of 10”.

DONE DEAL KLAXON!

Juan Cuadrado has turned his three-year loan deal at Juventus from Chelsea turned into a permanent transfer.
The forward has been instrumental in Juve’s Serie A title and Copa Itallia success this season.
And he could land a treble on June 3 when the Italian giants take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
Cuadrado has now put pen to paper on a permanent three-year deal that will see Premier League champions Chelsea net around £17million for the man they signed from Fiorentina in 2015 for £23.5m.
A Juventus club statement read: “Juventus announces that, following the meeting of the conditions provided by the contract, its obligation to definitively acquire the registration rights of Juan Cuadrado from Chelsea became due.
“The permanent transfer fee of €20million is to be paid in three annual instalments starting from the 2017/2018 financial year.

North of the border

St Mirren have completed the signing of Cammy Smith from Aberdeen.
He joins on a two-year contract.
“Sad day” hardly says ‘I’m glad to be joining lads’!

Moyes resigns

Breaking news from the north east.
David Moyes has resigned as Sunderland manager.
The Scotsman informed the club of his decision this afternoon after a meeting in London following a disastrous season that saw the Black Cats finish rock bottom of the Premier League.
Moyes will leave without taking the compensation he is entitled to.
He said:“I would like to thank Ellis Short and the Board for giving me the opportunity to manage Sunderland and the fans for always being so passionately supportive of their club.
“I wish the players and my successor well in their efforts towards promotion back to the Premier League”.

Agnew still in dark over Boro future

Steve Agnew sent his Middlesbrough players off for their summer break not knowing if he will be there to greet them on their return.
The man asked to step into head coach Aitor Karanka’s shoes in March held a meeting with the squad on Monday morning, a day after a season which delivered an instant return to the Sky Bet Championship drew to a close with a 3-0 Premier League defeat at Liverpool.
Some of the players will not be back - Valencia striker Alvaro Negredo and Arsenal defender Calum Chambers have returned to their respective clubs after their loan deals drew to a close, while Brad Guzan is to join MLS side Atlanta United and much-decorated fellow keeper Victor Valdes seems unlikely to stay for life in the second tier.
However, those players who do report back to the club’s Rockliffe Park training headquarters for the start of pre-season training do not yet know who will be in charge when they do so.

Vidal tells Bayern to sign Sanchez

Bayern Munich have been urged to sign Alexis Sanchez by the Chilean’s international team-mate Arturo Vidal .
Sanchez is entering his final year of his current contract at Arsenal and has been the subject of transfer speculation all season.
Despite this chatter over a move away from the Emirates he has bagged 24 goals in the Premier League, but it appears increasingly likely that he will move away this summer.
And Vidal fancies turning out alongside his compatriot on a more regular basis.

Do Man United already have their next No 1?

Joel Pereira aims to become Manchester United’s No 1 after keeping a clean sheet on his full debut.
Jose Mourinho has big hopes for his fellow Portuguese and used United’s final Premier League game against Crystal Palace to blood him.
Mourinho gave Pereira his debut against Wigan in the FA Cup in January and the 20-year-old says his target is to play every week for United.
“That’s what I want to do most and I will work hard for it,” he said. “Obviously, I need to be patient. I am a young goalkeeper at one of the top clubs in the world, but my goal is to be the No 1 of United. Hopefully I will get there and I will make sure I do that by working hard.
“I’m happy with the clean sheet and the performance from all the squad, and the young boys as well. A win at Old Trafford is always special.”

Alli drops hint over future

Dele Alli has given a strong indication he will still be a Tottenham player next season and hopes to win major silverware with the north London club.
Alli has been strongly linked with big money moves to Real Madrid and Manchester City following a superb season in the top flight.
The Tottenham midfielder has been one of the star performers for Mauricio Pochettino’s side scoring 22 goals.
Alli’s performances have not gone unnoticed and he was named PFA Young Player of the Year while many professionals in the game felt he was unlucky not to be selected for the main category of Player of the Year.

Chelsea set for payday

Chelsea’s summer spending plans have taken a boost thanks to Juventus’ Serie A title win on Sunday.
The Bianconeri claimed a record sixth consecutive Scudetto when they saw off Crotone to land the second part of a potential treble, ahead of next weekend’s Champions League final against Real Madrid.
But the Old Lady’s latest title success will be tempered - ever so slightly - by a financial hit that comes as part of Juan Cuadrado’s loan deal.
The Colombian headed to Turin at the start of the season with a clause in his deal that included a £3.4million payment based on the Italian side’s performance this season.

Premier League sides miss out on Tielemans

Premier League clubs have missed out on Anderlecht starlet Youri Tielemans, with the Belgian international joining Monaco.
Anderlecht, who won the Belgian title at the weekend, have confirmed that the 20-year-old will move to France this summer, with a £21million move set to be finalised next week.
Tielemans, who has captained the Belgians on occasion this season, scored 18 times in 53 games during his fourth year as a first-team regular.
Everton hitman Romelu Lukaku - whose own future is up in the air - had been imploring the Merseysiders to take Tielemans to Goodison Park this summer.

How much has everyone earned this season?

Chelsea won the title ahead of Tottenham in second but that doesn’t mean Spurs were the second biggest earners of the Premier League season.
In fact, in their farewell season at White Hart Lane, Tottenham raked in less than Manchester City - who finished third - and the same as fourth-placed Liverpool.
Arsenal earned less than Manchester United despite finishing ahead of them in fifth.
Sunderland, who finished dead last and look forward to the Championship next season, still raked almost £100m before parachute payments kick in.
So how is the money dished out?
Prize money, as you’d expect, is give according to the final finishing position but doesn’t make up the biggest income for teams.
Here’s the full list.

New deal for David Vaughan

We have ourselves a new contract in the Championship.
Nottingham Forest are looking to put a poor season behind them and have secured the services of Wales international David Vaughan for another season.
He featured 33 times for the club last season and has penned a new one-year deal to extend his stay at the City Ground into a fifth season.

Moyes set for talks

David Moyes will hold talks over his future with Sunderland owner Ellis Short Monday.
The Black Cats boss, who saw his relegated side ripped apart by Chelsea, remained in London while his team returned to the north-east on Sunday.
Moyes refused to confirm he would be staying in charge ahead of meeting London-based Short and said: “I’m a man who has just finished losing a game today.
“I’m gutted I lost the game and the way we’ve lost it. That’s how I feel.
“I’m gutted we’ve been relegated, really disappointed the way the season’s gone. But you know? What do you do?”

Howe on Bournemouth's summer place

Eddie Howe saluted Bournemouth’s highest Premier League finish in ninth place – level on points with the big boys down the road, Southampton.
A goal from Junior Stanislas inside the first minute set them up to rattle Leicester and extend their unbeaten run to five games.
Howe, who steered the Cherries to 16th last season after promotion, said: “A top-half finish wasn’t something that was on our list but we’ve done it.
“It’s full justification to the players for what they have achieved and how they’ve improved. Right now I want to enjoy this season. I feel there’s a lot more improvement from this group to come. What that is and how that comes out we’ll wait and see.

Crouch and Redknapp were among the old Tottenham faces paraded at their last game at White Hart Lane.
Stoke’s Crouch, 36, ruled out dropping down into the Championship but Redknapp fancies other stars like free agent Robbie Keane.
Crouch, under contract at Stoke until 2018, said: “Harry Redknapp was there.

Gibson in demand

Leicester and West Brom are trying to prise Ben Gibson away from Middlesbrough.
Boro defender Gibson has admitted he wants to play in the Premier League and is keen to further his England career following his recent call-up.
That has alerted a host of Premier League clubs about the defender’s potential availability although Middlesbrough are desperate to keep him and value him over £20m.
Leicester and West Brom have both scouted him extensively and are keen and will lead the chase this summer. Stoke are also another club to register an interest.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham have also looked at Gibson through his impressive season in the Premier League as his form has been good despite Boro’s relegation.

Ospina in Turkey talks

David Ospina is in talks with Fenerbahce about a £5m move to Turkey.
Arsenal’s No2 keeper wants to quit the Emirates after getting frustrated at a lack of chances playing second fiddle to Petr Cech.
Ospina still has two years left on his current deal and Arsenal persuaded him to stay with the promise of games in the Champions League and a chance to challenge to be first choice.
But Ospina has never felt that he has had a fair chance and is determined to quit Arsenal this summer with the club set to sanction a move.
Fenerbahce have been keen on Ospina in the past but Arsenal have blocked it but negotiations are ongoing.

Palace haggle over Mandanda deal

Crystal Palace are haggling with Marseille over the price for Steve Mandanda to return to the Stade Velodrome.
The France goalkeeper has not played since undergoing knee surgery in November and he is not part of Sam Allardyce’s plans.
The south London club paid £1.5million for Mandanda last summer – and gave him a three-year contract worth £60,000 a week – but now want £4million for the 32-year-old.
Mandanda spent nine seasons at Marseille and his family have stayed in the south of France this season. Dimitri Payet also rejoined Marseille in January.

Dyche addresses Keane rumours

Sean Dyche claims Michael Keane won’t leave Burnley unless they are happy with the deal.
Keane is set to rejoin Manchester United and the boyhood Red is understood to be keen to return to Old Trafford.
But Dyche says the England centre-half, who missed the loss to West Ham with a calf injury, will only quit Turf Moor with the club’s blessing.
“The one thing we know is that we’re in a strong position,” said the Burnley boss.
“He’s got a year to run on his contract. If nothing happens that’s suitable for us, the situation will go on and he will carry on playing. We will wait and see what the summer brings.”

Koeman to make final Barkley decision

Ronald Koeman will make a final decision on Ross Barkley’s future on Monday after their relationship hit a new low.
Koeman dropped Barkley to the bench after another bust-up, brought him on as a substitute after just 26 minutes and will discuss the contract stand-off with Everton board with an announcement due later in the week.
It comes after Koeman gave Barkley an ultimatum last week to give him a decision on his future only for the Everton midfielder to ask for a “couple more days.”
That led to Koeman’s patience finally snapping and resulted in him dropping Barkley to the bench and it seems increasingly likely he will leave Goodison Park as he has only one year left on his contract.

Morning all

Greetings folks, how are we all doing on this fine Monday morning?
There may well be a few Chelsea fans with sore heads as the Blues celebrated their Premier League title win last night following a bonkers final day of the season.
Yesterday we were treated to a shedload of goals, some emotional farewells and a pinch of last-day drama, as Liverpool and Manchester City sealed their top four places at the expense of Arsenal.
The Gunners’ failure to land a Champions League place for the first time in 20 years could well be a huge blow for the their summer spending plans, as the club will have to come up with a sales pitch to compensate for the lack of top level European competition that they will be able to offer their players.
But for Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp will be able to combine his big personality with the lure of Champions League football as the German looks to take the Reds another step forward.
Manchester United will have to wait and see if they are playing in the Champions League this season, but Jose Mourinho will have his chequebook ready whether they see off Ajax on Wednesday night or not.
And don’t expect Chelsea to rest on their laurels this summer, as new faces at Stamford Bridge will certainly arrive.
We’ll be bringing you all the latest transfer news, gossip and done deals as they happen, so stay tuned everybody...
