Barcelona forward Neymar has made his mind up on a switch to Paris but La Liga could throw a spanner in the works, saying the £199million fee could potentially be in breach of Financial Fair Play rules.
The deal is still expected to go through, however, with the Parisians willing to turn to FIFA to help them land their man.

Leicester have signed Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho.The 20-year-old has penned a five-year contract at the King Power Stadium.
“It feels good and I’m happy to be part of this team. I know the ambition of the team and speaking with the manager, he let me know what I need to do – to help the team achieve what they want. I was convinced and I’m happy to be here,” he said.
“I was happy speaking with the manager, knowing what the team wants. It gives me more confidence that I will fit in this team and hopefully I’ll achieve a lot.”
Wenger gives damning verdict on Neymar transfer
Arsene Wenger has warned Neymar’s £199million switch from Barcelona to PSG is “what happens when countries own clubs.”Speaking ahead of Sunday’s Community Shield meeting with Chelsea, Wenger claimed the Brazil superstar’s world record move has left clubs such as Arsenal unable to compete financially.
The Gunners boss said: “Once countries own football clubs everything is possible and it has become very difficult to respect Financial Fair Play.
“We still live with rationality. We are not the only ones. I think 99 per cent of the clubs do that - but of course we cannot compete at that level.”

Wenger: Discussing Sanchez negotiations would be 'suicide'
Arsene Wenger admits he is trying to avoid committing footballing ‘suicide’ in his bid to keep Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal.The Chilean has 12 months left on his contract and wants to play Champions League football. Wenger has vetoed his exit and wants him to sign a new deal.
Asked whether Sanchez is interested, Wenger said: “That is again something that I do not want to come back on.
“We know we have a duty to inform people, but to talk about some things is not information anymore - it is suicide.”

FULL STORY: Neymar edges closer to PSG switch
Neymar has paid his own €222million Barcelona release clause to force through the move to Paris Saint-Germain, the club have confirmed.The Brazilian’s representatives have been in Spain to complete negotiations with both La Liga and Barcelona.
On Thursday night, Barcelona confirmed that the release clause had been paid in full and UEFA had been contacted with a view to terminate Neymar’s deal.
A statement said: “On Thursday afternoon Neymar Jr’s legal representatives visited in person the Club’s offices and made the payment of 222 million euros in the player’s name with regards to the unilateral termination of the contract that united both parties.
“As such, the Club will pass on to UEFA the details of the above operation so that they can determine the disciplinary responsibilities that may arise from this case.”
Earlier in the day, La Liga refused to accept the payment of the release clause by Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG were told by La Liga president Javier Tebas earlier this week that they would not accept the release clause - and warned a complaint would be filed to UEFA over an apparent FFP breach.
Representatives of Neymar and PSG arrived at the La Liga offices in Madrid on Thursday, planning to deposit the fee to activate the release clause - but it was refused.
A statement read: “We can confirm that the lawyers of the player (Neymar) have come to La Liga to deposit the clause and that it has been rejected. It is all the information we will give so far.”
